Tasks
Tasks define the specific activities participants complete during research sessions. UserLens supports multiple task types aligned with common UX research methodologies, from standard usability tasks to specialized testing formats.
How it works
Each task includes a title, objective, scenario description, difficulty level, and estimated completion time. Tasks can include step-by-step instructions and follow-up questions. The difficulty level (Easy, Medium, Hard, All) determines which participant segments receive the task based on their usage level.
Tasks are linked to hypotheses to establish test coverage. When participants complete tasks, their responses and feedback are captured and associated with the task for later analysis.
